Gender Awareness and Male CDA Project

Because of the domineering role of men in the society, DEC realizes the need to reach out to men and make them understand that women have potentials that should be tapped.  DEC identifies communities where micro-finance women groups exist and use them as entry points of reaching out to the male population. The main goal of the Gender Awareness project is to make men realize the potentials of women and why they should be supported to actualize such potentials.  Unless men are made to become gender sensitive, women can hardly realize their potentials.
